The hotel was in the middle of a nature reserve and had lots of good walking. It was very quiet fully air conditioned. The hotel food was of a very high quality, however other options were limited unless you drove.

The approach road to the hotel was very poor and would be better suited to farm traffic rather than normal cars. The hotel was poorly sign posted and it would be best if the hotel warned travelers that the Sat Nav would attempt to send them down roads unsuitable for cars.

It was a splendid surprise to see the beautiful premises in the valley just 15 minutes outside Maastricht. Service and comfort were at a very high level, as was the food (with in-house cattle breeding) and artistic, tasteful decoration. Incredible to think that the owner restored this old farmhouse and adjacent buildings all by himself. The warm reception and atmosphere made me promiss myself to return here for a longer stay and enjoy this luxuruous hospitality to the fullest.

I thought the surroundings were very picturesque and peaceful. The room was very comfortable too.

I thought that there should have been a bar to sit at and have a relaxing drink. I found this very strange for a "hotel"

A cafe or a restaurant where you could get as cup of coffee, a drink or a small meal would have been nice. Now they only serve highly priced dinners and only on Saterdays.

Grand prix - the appointment of the hotel and location was wonderful but was spoilt by poor staff and poor service which ruined the hotel

It is really a motel, with staffing levels to match. It does not have the feel of an hotel where anyone is taking an interest in the guests. It is a place where the minimum is given in return for the room rate, even in a superior grade room. There was no fire escape route anywhere, nor a plan of the hotel, nor a price for the room itself on the side of the room door. When these matters were queried, the response was that the hotel did not need them because it was a private estate. A feeling of being conned was the inevitable outcome.

Perfect for a weekend getaway in the countryside with luxurious amenities and gourmet food. Rooms were comfortable and elegant. Romantic setting with beautiful surroundings. Staff extremely helpful and polite.

Great atmosphere, extremely friendly service, beautiful location

The atmosphere was fantastic, the room was very cozy, beautiful works of art all around the place, and breathtaking surroundings. I loved that place and would be happy to go back there at any time.

They charge twice the tourist tax as other hotels in the area, and 15 euro for a baby bed per night (in some of the other hotel it is free of charge). Breakfast is excellent, but way too expensive.

Very poor service, Not trained personell. The maagement of this hotel was one of the worse I have ever experienced. With another management and well trained personnel this could be a wonderful and romantic sneak away.

Professional and friendly staff. Excellent, quiet, location. Clean and sober style, worthy of a much more expensive hotel. Tea and nespresso in the room.
